Cast zinc alloy, antique bronze

Censer, eight-treasure relief

$84

A cast body with a running band of relief: lotus petals below, the eight treasures above. The whole band comes from one mould, so the figures are evenly spaced and equally deep — hand-chasing would vary the depth and the spacing would drift over the circumference.

Zinc alloy, antique-bronze plating

Care
Wipe dry. The bronze tone is a plating over zinc, so avoid anything abrasive.

Ships from Hangzhou in 2–5 business days. Delivery is typically 7–15 business days to the US and 8–16 to the EU, UK, Australia and New Zealand, customs permitting. Import duties and taxes are charged by your country's customs, not by us, and are payable on delivery. The United States ended its $800 duty-free exemption on 29 August 2025, so US orders now attract duty at every value. The EU introduces a flat €3 duty per item on goods below €150 from 1 July 2026. Where it comes from

The eight treasures are a set of auspicious symbols in Buddhist decorative art — the conch, the wheel, the parasol and so on — each with a conventional reading, and they are usually shown as a set rather than individually. Casting in a two-part mould duplicates a carved master exactly, which is what makes a continuous band around a round body practical at all.
