Offcuts from the lightning-struck stock
Jujube wood pendant, small
$58
A small piece of jujube wood, cut from the offcuts left over when bead blanks are turned, drilled and hung on a waxed cotton cord. Each one is a different shape because each one is a leftover, so this listing is for one pendant and the shape is whatever the saw left behind.
- Material
- Jujube wood (Ziziphus jujuba), oiled
- Cord
- Waxed cotton, sliding knot
- Shape
- Varies piece to piece — one pendant per order

Ships from Hangzhou in 2–5 business days. Delivery is typically 7–15 business days to the US and 8–16 to the EU, UK, Australia and New Zealand, customs permitting. Import duties and taxes are charged by your country's customs, not by us, and are payable on delivery. The United States ended its $800 duty-free exemption on 29 August 2025, so US orders now attract duty at every value. The EU introduces a flat €3 duty per item on goods below €150 from 1 July 2026. Where it comes from
Turning a hundred and eight beads leaves a lot of wood on the floor. Most workshops sweep it into the stove; the pieces that survive are the ones with figure in them. A jujube that has been struck by lightning is not something anyone can order, so the small pieces are worth keeping — the tree only grows so fast and the strike is not on a schedule.
