A rectangular plaque of jujube, planed flat, sanded to 800 grit and finished with wax. One face is left as it came off the saw, so the grain and whatever marks the tree grew are left where they are rather than planed away. There is no carving and no inscription — the plaque is the wood, and a carving would only cover it up.
